At MMC Laboratories, he leads operational strategy, regulatory compliance, and pharmaceutical quality systems with a focus on innovation and global standards.
A qualified pharmacist, Ignatius holds advanced qualifications in marketing, technology management, and regulatory science, and is currently completing a PhD in the regulation of cell-based therapies. His career spans leadership roles at Boehringer Ingelheim across South Africa, Europe, and Central Asia, where he directed business development, regulatory affairs, and market expansion strategies.
Ignatius is the founder of ArexCell International, a consultancy supporting pharmaceutical and biotech companies in regulatory compliance, quality systems, and product development. He is also a published author in the fields of bioethics, regenerative medicine, and pharmaceutical policy, and an active member of several international scientific and regulatory societies.
